Javad Abouali has begun serving his sentence in Behbahan Prison.
Javad Abouali, political student and civil rights activist, has been sentenced to one year in prison.
A relaible source told the Human Rights House of Iran that he was arrested last September and was held incommunicado in Behbahan Intelligence Ministry. He was sentenced to one year in prison which was upheld by the appeals court.
His charges include anti-regime propaganda and insulting the Supreme Leader.
