Illegal inspection of a number of Gonabadi Dervishes’ houses in Kavar

On Aban 10, 1390 (November 01, 2011) violent conflicts and illegal inspections of several Gonabadi Dervishes’ houses were begun.

According to Majzooban Noor website’s reporter, in continuance of the suppression and assault on Kavar’s Gonabadi Dervishes, the houses of Mohammad Ali Dehghan, Nezam Malak Pour and Mehdi Omidi, were illegally inspected and searched. These actions were done by the security and plain-clothes forces intending to frighten and horrify Dervishes’ families.

Following these inspections, the houses of Messrs. Aman Cheraghi in Farmeshkan village of Kavar, and Mohammad Ali Sadeghi in Kavar have been assaulted and through violent actions their books, photos, and other cultural stuffs have been confiscated.

Recent actions that started on Shahrivar 11, 1390 (September 02, 2011) and continuously followed by the security and plain-clothes forces, on Aban 03, 1390 (October 25, 2011) have been entered to a new stage with detention of Mehrdad Keshavarz. Meanwhile establishing the security atmosphere and martial law in Kavar, not only has deprived the vital and financial security of Gonabadi Dervishes, but also has had the same effect on Kavar’s citizenries and breached the peace of this town.
