Tensions between Iran and the West are rising and the US says sanctions are beginning to have an effect in Iran.

However the impact is also being felt beyond the country’s borders.

More than 400,000 Iranians live and work in the United Arab Emirates alone, with more than 8,000 Iranian-registered businesses.

But many Iranians are finding credit hard to come by and that is having a knock-on impact on trade.
