Gonabadi dervish, Mrs.Mahtab Bazvand the contemporary sonneteer poet due to dependence to the Gonabadi Dervishes Order, after serving 12 years in the “Institute for Intellectual Development of Children and young Adult of Lorestan” Was fired.

She is a poet and writer from Lorestan who after received the rejection letter from the selection center on 01/23/91 the contract was canceled and also she was fired on charges of “being Darvish” !

She wrote to protest that letter:

” I am one of the Gonabadi dervishes and my heart beliefs does not have any conflict with my social beliefs and not only even there is no administrative abuse in my case but also I, as a poet, have been selected in last Ramadan and met with Supreme Leader then “.

She has added ” I am poet of “Fajr Poetry and Sacred Defense Festivals” but this is not a reason to ignore my beliefs instead of keeping a government job … As the great poet of Shiraz, has said :

On the door of the royal house, a beggar told me:

I sat next to each food-table , God was Feeder “

She said in an interview with our correspondent: In a society where being Shi’a duodenal is crime, I prefer to work for my heart freely.
