Two bloggers who published “lies” arrested

Magazine managers convicted of false advertising

This week saw the trial of managers of magazines and website. According to the report, the Chief Editor of the website CHESHM ANDAZ IRANwas acquitted of the charge of anti-regime propaganda, but was convicted of false advertising. The Chief Editor of the sports magazine, GOL, was convicted of false advertising to incite public opinion. Son of senior cleric sentenced to four years in prison

Sayeed Hassan Taheri, son of Ayatollah Sayeed Jalal Taheri Esfahani, former Imam Jama of Isfahan, was sentenced to four years in prison and 10 years exile from his city Zabol. Taheri was convicted of anti-regime propaganda, disturbance of public order and insulting the Supreme Leader.
