Transfer Of Two Gonabadi Dervishes to Green Ward In Adel Abad Prison

Jailed Gonabadi dervishes, Messrs.Saleh Moradi Sarvestani and Kasra Nouri were transferred to the Green ward of Adel Abad prison in Shiraz.

According to Majzooban reporter, after follow-up with their families and lawyers on how to incarcerate the dervishes who were confined in heavy crimes sections such as murder and drug trafficking finally Adel Abad prison authorities agreed to transfer them to the Green section.

Though, these Gonabadi dervishes were to be transferred to the Green ward at the beginning of Mehr (October ) but Prison security boss prevented the transfer of Mr.Kasra Nouri to Green section due to the influence of the ward’s clergy who had insulted Kasra nouri because he did pray “Individually” and didn’t join to “Congregation prayers” then he was banned from meeting with his family for a while and again, the cleric by calling this prisoner of conscience as “wicked” had caused authorities to prevent his transfer to Green ward.

Also, Saleh Moradi who has been transferred to the Green section at the beginning of Mehr (October ) just one day after that, was sent to another ward which is known as “clean section” where has too inappropriate situation .

The reason of transfer was that Saleh Moradi was limited to observe specific behavior and appearance which was not acceptable for him as a Dervish.

After the follow-up to overcome these limitations, Saleh Moradi and Kasra Nouri were transferred to the Green ward at the beginning of last week.

It should be reminded that, the families of jailed dervishes who have been held in Shiraz Adel Abad prison, had a meeting with “Mr.Mousa Ahmadi”, the Director general of the Central Prison in Shiraz on Mordad 24 , 1391 (Aug 14 , 2012) and they objected to such illegal acts, for running regulations, for separation of prisoners based on the charge and Mr.Mousa Ahmadi, in response, promised to follow-up the status of dervish prisoners but unfortunately the law was not observed to these Gonabadi darvishes!
