The security forces have resorted to threatening and suspending the trade license of Gonabadi dervish, for forcing him to cooperate with them!

On Tuesday 21st of Azar 1391 ( Dec 11, 2011), four security agents call on Mr. Nourooz Ali Soleymanizadeh at his shop in Gachsaran town of Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad Province.

They threatened him and took his license then they gave him a form in which he has to fill all the identities of the region’s dervishes such as Job and their information. They told him that they would return his license when he completes the form. As this Gonabadi dervish has said “the security forces have demanded such cooperation by telephone previously, to which Mr. Soleymanizadeh had each time decisively rejected to do so” and this is the reason why that these forces have resorted to these kinds of threats.

It should be noted that, also five other Gonabadi dervishes from Ahvaz city in Khozestan Province (South of Iran) have been pressured by these forces and have been summoned and called by phone.

These kinds of actions have been one regular threats over the years on dervishes but recently these pressures reportedly increased.
