Despite previous promises by the prosecutor to give furlough for Parviz Malekshahi, this prisoners of conscience has been held in detention yet.

According to a report by Majzooban Noor, Gonabadi dervish, Parviz Malekshahi a resident of Alashtar county who has been taken to central prison of Khorramabad to serve out a six-months sentence on charge of ” insulting the leadership” and “Propaganda against the Regime due to participating in Sufi’s meeting” on Monday 13th Azar 1391 (Dec 3, 2012), was promised by prosecutors giving furlough after spending a third of his sentence.

But now that his family is asking for that, Prosecutor does not agree with his leave.

The prosecutor’s behavior is confusing the family of Mr. Parviz Malekshahi and they have to go to Khorramabad Prosecutor’s office for his furlough status every day and so far his family’s efforts have failed.

The brother of Mr.Malekshahi by expressing concern over his condition in custody said to Majzooban reporter: “It is expected that if the judicial authorities make a promise to the families of prisoners, fulfill their promise.”
