Mostafa Daneshjou , was reportedly transferred to the infirmary at Evin prison after his disease got worse due to being kept in solitary confinement.

According to Majzooban reporter, Gonabadi dervish’s lawyer, Mostafa Daneshjou who is suffering from severe respiratory disease and asthma, was taken to prison clinic yesterday evening 30th of Dey 1391 (Jan 19, 2013).

Mr. Daneshjou was transferred to Solitary Confinement in Ward 240 while according to the coroner’s certificate he has lost a considerable (at about 40%) of his lung capacity and is strictly prohibited from being kept in a closed space with no air Conditioner.

The last time on 9th Dey 1391 ( Dec 29, 2012) that he had been admitted because of an asthma attack at Tehran’s Milad Hospital by an order from judge Salavati he was discharged from hospital without the patient’s consent and doctor’s permission, then, he was taken into custody.

It should be noted that, Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyers and Majzooban Noor’s managers because of refusing to participate in court, according to the order by the trial judge, were transferred to solitary confinement.

Unfortunately the situation in solitary confinement is absolutely dangerous for Mostafa Daneshjou and two other dervishes, Hamid Reza Moradi and Amir Eslami who are suffering from heart disease and taking heart medication.
