Amir Eslami is in critical conditions due to being held in solitary confinement in ward 209 of Evin Prison.

According to Majzooban Noor, Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyer, Amir Eslami was transferred to Heart hospital from Ward 209 following heart complications on 24 Bahman (Feb. 12) but after a few hours was returned behind bars.

Amir Eslami who has had two heart attacks thus far in prison, along with six other dervish attorneys and Majzooban Noor website’s managers, is being held in solitary confinement of Ward 209 for more than a month and is forbidden to visit.

These prisoners of conscience in protest against their illegal detention and the lack of legal proceedings such as being denied the right to study the case and not allowed to meet with their lawyers, had not attended the unfair court then were transferred to solitary confinement in ward 209.

Among the jailed dervishes in solitary confinement of intelligence detention, Hamid Reza Moradi Sarvestani who is suffering from chronic heart illness and also is in danger of amputation of his foot due to blood vessel obstruction, was being lashed up and beaten in this situation and Mostafa Daneshjou who suffers from pulmonary disease and asthma, has lost 40% of his lungs in prison are forbidden to visit family.

Families of these dervishes who have been unable to obtain information about their health or conditions, express grave concern about them.

They have repeatedly gone to Revolutionary court for follow-up of jailed dervishes’s situation but presiding judge, Mr. Salavati , is not willing to accept their families and lawyers for even an explanation.

The families have written many latter of complaints to The Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei and also different authorities which has been so far inconclusive.

Two Gonabadi dervishes who are being held in Shiraz’s Adel Abad prison have lunched a hunger strike since Dey 27 (Jan 15) to protest illegal transfer of seven Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyers and Majzooban Noor website managers to solitary confinement of Evin prison.

Saleh Moradi and Kasra Nouri reached on 31th day of hunger strike and are reportedly in dire and deteriorating health condition.
