Gonabadi Dervish, Kasra Nouri in 75th day of his hunger strike was taken to intelligence detention center of Shiraz (known as Pelak sad/ No. 100) where he was interrogated and beaten.
According to Majzooban Noor, this morning 11 Farvardin 1392 (March 31, 2013), Kasra Nouri who along with other Gonabadi Dervish, Saleh Moradi is on 75th day of his hunger strike, was transferred to Shiraz’s intelligence detention center by security forces and after several hours of interrogation, beatings and being held in solitary confinement in order to break his hunger strike, due to Dervishes’s gathering in front of Shiraz’s intelligence detention center building, was again transferred back to Adel Abad prison.
In “Pelak sad/ No. 100 “, the security forces were going to interrogate him but he resisted against them and said: “You have no right to interrogate me now because my case is not at a stage which in I should be interrogated.”
Also, investigators of Shiraz’s intelligence detention center, asked Kasra Nouri to be granted bail bond for his temporarily release but the jailed Dervish refused to comply with their demand. After that, the security agents tried to force him to break his dry hunger strike by intimidation and physical violence, but again, this Gonabadi Dervish stood up and resisted against them. Therefore he was sent to solitary confinement after being beaten and insulted by security agents.
After hours, by gathering of Gonabadi Dervishes in front of Shiraz’s intelligence detention center and due to intelligence officials fears of the consequences of their wrongful and illegal acts, Kasra Nouri was again transferred back to Adel Abad prison.
Concurrent with these events in the No. 100 of Shiraz prison, Kasra Nouri’s mother, Mrs. Shekoufeh Yadollahi, had met with judge Rashidi who is responsible for Nouri’s case in Shiraz’s Revolutionary Court. In this meeting, Mr. Rashidi requested her to post bail bond in order to release her son but she rejected his request and stated that: The only acceptable way to release all imprisoned Dervishes in Shiraz and Tehran’s prisons is “unconditional release” and we shall never accept to pay even 1 rial bail for his release.
It should be reminded that, Saleh Moradi and Kasra Nouri, currently are behind bars for more than 19 months in Shiraz’s Adel Abad prison. They have lunched a hunger strike to protest illegal transfer of seven Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyers and Majzooban Noor website’s managers to solitary confinement of Evin prison, under order of judge Salavati and Iranian Ministry of Information since 27th of Dey 1391 ( Jan 15, 2013). After 19 months, their case is still under investigation in Shiraz’s Revolutionary Court. We note in this regard that although they have been in detention more than the serving a period of time which would equate to their sentence, therefore now their detention is absolutely unlawful.
