Iran Holy Quran Exhibition to open int’l section

 


TEHRAN (ISNA)-Iran’s 19th Holy Quran Exhibition would open the International Section on Wednesday as translators and Quran activists from different countries are to present their works in the fair.

Iranian Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Mohammad Hosseini, the Head of Islamic Culture and Communication Organization Mohammad Bagher Korramshad as well foreign and national Quran activists are to attend the opening ceremony.
Participants from Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Tunisia, the Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Bosnia, Sudan, Turkey, Germany, Syria, Azerbaijan, Kuwait, China, Lebanon and India would present their works in the fair.
The 19th International Holy Quran Exhibition opened during a ceremony in Tehran July 28.
The exhibit opens annually just a few days ahead of the holy month of Ramadan.
A great number of artworks concerning the Holy Book have been showcased at the exhibit, which runs until August 26.
The exhibit is also playing host to over 300 cultural institutes and publishing companies, which are offering their latest works.
