Today on 18th of Esfand 1392 (Mar 9, 2014) and yesterday on the International Women’s day , the Iranian regime’s State Security Forces arrested at least 500 women and men during the clashes with members of families of Dervishes and political prisoners who attempted to gather to protest suppression of imprisoned Dervishes.
As Security officials had promised the families of Dervish prisoners that their demands will be met until today at 9 am and The families of Dervish prisoners along with detained Dervishes at police station No. 113 had responded that, if the authorities fail to fulfill their promise, they will gather again outside Tehran’s Prosecutors office, they gathered in front of Tehran’s Prosecutors office demanding their legal rights.

The anti-riot force used pepper gas against the protesters. Hundreds were arrested injured in violent clashes. The families of jailed Dervishes including 20 women and 3 kids who were arrested today have been taken to Evin prison. As they are on hunger strike in support of jailed Gonabadi Dervishes, have refused to eat anything there.

According to Majzooban Noor reporters. on Sunday, agents of the Iranian regime’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security, clashed with the families of jailed Dervishes in the streets nearby as they attempted to gather outside Tehran’s Prosecutor’s Office located near Panzdah-e Khordad Square and Galoobandak intersection. Shekoufeh Yadillahi the mother of jailed Dervish, Kasra Nouri, Sedighe Khalili, the wife of Hamid-Reza Moradi, Sepideh Moradi, his daughter, Fahimeh Moradi His sister reportedly have been arrested and transferred to Evin prison.

Meanwhile, elements of the suppressive forces the Hosseinieh of Gonabadi Dervishes in Behesht Street of Tehran.

Security forces beat up with batons both man and woman Dervishes who gathered today in front of Tehran’s Prosecutors office

Previously the Saturday’s gathering had been announced from few days ago in support of 10 Dervishes imprisoned in Tehran’s Evin prison, Karaj’s Rajai-Shahr prison and in Shiraz’s Nezam and Bandar-abbas prison.

According to our reporters, today security forces attempted to prevent Gonabadi Dervishes from holding their religious rites on the night before Mondays in their worship-place( Hosseiniyeh) but Dervishes have stated that they will attend their ceremony at its right time 4 pm. So far, no harassment has been created for holding Dervish ceremony.
