Iran’s relations with the world are on the path of friendship and interaction and within the framework of honor, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani said on Wednesday. Rouhani made the remarks in an address to a gathering of people in Ilam, which is the capital of the western province of Ilam.
The Islamic Republic of Iran establishes fraternal and friendly relations with all the Western and Eastern countries that respect the Iranian people’s rights, he said.

Commenting on Iran’s relations with the world, Rouhani said that at the present time, Iran’s ties with other countries, specifically neighboring countries, are better than ever.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he said that Iran is on the path of progress and development.

But the country can make more progress with the help of the people, he added.

Rouhani arrived in Ilam on Wednesday morning.
