Imprisoned Gonabadi Dervishes, Amir Eslami, Mostafa Abdi, Omid Behroozi and Kasra Nouri have joined in Dervishes mass hunger strike from today, Saturday,15th of Shahrivar 1393 (September 6, 2014).
According to Majzooban Noor, by joining these four Dervishes, nine imprisoned Gonabadi Dervishes are now on hunger strike in Evin prison in Tehran and Nezam prison in Shiraz.
The jailed Dervishes who are confined in wards 4, 7, 8 and 350 of Evin Prison in Tehran and general ward of Shiraz’s Nezam prison have lunched the hunger strike in response to the unlawful coercions of the prison officials and judicial authorities and in protest to repeated violence against political and ideological prisoners by judicial authorities, putting arbitrary pressure, imposing illegal restrictions and criminal behavior by prison officials.
