Ali Younesi, advisor of president on tribal affairs and minorities, in a brief interview with reporters in the press exhibition, said that the dervishes’ issue is being solved.
Based on Majzooban Noor, the former minister of information, in his short words and no more explanations, did not determine any specific date to solve what he called “dervishes’ issue”.
Mr. Younesi had earlier told the reporter of Etemad press that demolition of the Gonabadi dervishes’ place of worship in city Qom was the result of false and incorrect reports to the officials.
It is pertinent to mention that after the attack of fundamentalists to Gonabadi’s housee of worship in Qom, a huge wave of arrests, dismissal of dervishes from their work and exile has been commenced, and over the past ten years has had a sharp increase; so that, during these years dozens of dervishes have been sentenced to one hundred year to jail, exile and various deprivations, while the current advisor of president believes that demolition of worship-place of Gonabadi dervishes was the result of incorrect report.
Despite the words of the advisor of the highest executive authority, still extremists in websites, some classes and courses in offices, departments, military entities, and even also on programs of radio and TV use insulting, offensive and illegal words against dervishes and followers of mysticism.
