GVF — Former student activist Sahar Mousavi has been detained.

According to the Committee of Human Rights Reporters, former student activist Sahar Mousavi was arrested on 19 October after being summon to the Intelligence Ministry.

The Committee also reports that Mousavi was taken to an unknown location following her arrest. Authorities have until now failed to provide any reasons for her imprisonment.

Prior to her detention, Mousavi had also been barred from continuing her postgraduate studies, reportedly because of her political leanings.
