Morteza Sepandar, a member of the Nematollahi Gonabadi Order was sent to prison by security and police forces by the order of the judge of the Branch 5 enforcement of the penal code of justice of Karaj.

According to Majzooban reporter : Morteza Sepandar and three other dervishes from the Nematollahi Gonabadi order who  were sentenced by branch 80 of the provincial appeals court in Tehran, to restitution damages and monetary fines, charging them with insults and attempted assault  because of a combined suit filed by four members in the Nour Maarafat cultural institution, Religious Studies center of Imam Jaafar Sadegh, and the Basij center in Karaj,in October 2008 , was sent to prison on 30th May 2011due to knowing illegal this punishment and not paying the monetary fines.

According to Mr. Sayed Yaser Jalaly Amlashi, Sepandar’ lawyer, there is  no obvious  and legal evidence  to proove assignment charges in case and just the minutes recorded by intelligence service and the disciplinary forces that motivated to defend the position of the the opposition with mysticism have been the basis of this sentence. It is worth mentioning Morteza Sepandar is a 55 percent injured veteran of the Islamic army, last year in a letter to a handful of high-ranking Iranian, explicitly announced that when Intelligence Agents instead of defending the privacy of his family, considered the defense of their position and plaintiffs position and trying to condemn him in the courts, he prefered the imprisonment in obedience to the verdict against the law and rules, and he will not pay intended monetary fines to his plaintiffs who were radical forces and were opposed to mysticism.
