A close relative of the speaker of IOPHRI-London branch assaulted by unknown aggressors, a few nights ago in London.
According to the investigations of London police the man was attacked according to a plan when he was on his way to his home from work. Five persons waylaid him in a dark area and held him at gunpoint to beat him up seriously. The man is suffering from injuries in his face, abdomen and legs.
The International Organisation to preserve Human Rights in Iran engages in rising Human Rights violations in Iran with the UN delegate for Iran Ahmad Shaheed, the UN Human Rights council, members of the European Parliament and national governments throughout Europe.
Moreover the London branch of IOPHRI regularly performed street theater shows during the last years to display the ideology at work in Iran. Additionally the speaker of IOHRI-London branch, Mrs Zarah Noorani, raised some of the Human Rights violations of the regime in interviews with BBC TV, BBC radio (Persian section), Radio Farda (Persian section of Radio Free Europe), and other Persian media.
One of the websites of the Bassiji Intelligence Services pointed at Mrs Nooranis activities in a recent report. (http://www.kherghe.blogfa.com/post-784.aspx) These kinds of “reports” are more like a dissemination of accusations and defamation. They can be regarded as warnings to those mentioned in this balderdash.
The Website Kherghe http://kherghe.blogfa.com/ focuses especially on Sufism and the Nematollah Gonabadi Sufi Order. Some other persons mentioned in those “reports” on Kherghe like the lecturers and lawyers who live in Iran have been accused recently of passing security relevant information to contacts in the West. The regime fears very much the rising of Human Rights violations in media outside the country and considers any information about its activities as relevant to its security.
The attack against the wife of Mr. Bani Sadr in Paris and the breaking and entering his house two weeks later can be seen in the same line. Mr Bani Sadr complained about the silence and his complains proved to come true.
We strongly call to the media, the politicians and to the public in the West to take these threats serious and to react directly to the regime in Iran because any silence about their attacks will encourage them to carry on.
