Ramin Soltankhah another Gonabadi dervish was arrested and transformed to Vakil Abad prison in Mashad City yesterday.

Accordinng to Majzooban site, this dervish who has been sentenced to 5 months imprisonment and 50 lashes and one year exile by Branch 101 of Gonabad criminal court, was arrested yesterday.

According to the report in July 2009 a group of dervishes had protested against the illegal behavior of Gonabad prosecuting attorney and that even 24 of them had been arrested and sentenced. Fourteen of these dervishes had been sentenced to 50 lashes and 91 days of suspended imprisonment for three years and the others 10 dervishes to 5 months imprisonment, 50 lashes and one year exile to deprived areas. The sentences were confirmed by Court Branch 12 of Khorasan Razavi Province.  On 24 April, the Intelligence Agency officers  arrested Nazar Ali Marvi, Mohammad Marvi, and Ali  Kashanifar in Gonabad City, ZafarAli Moghimi in Qouchan City  and Abdorreza Kashani, Alireza Abbasi, and Shokrollah Hosseini in Bidokht City and transferred them to Vakil Abad prison in Mashad. Mohammad Kashani also was arrested on 20 May and joined the other prisoners.
