Four days have been passed from arrest of Gonabadi dervish, Mr. Ali Shafiee, who is allowed to hold religious ceremonies in his house in “Soghad”, district of Abadeh city in Fars Province, but there is no information from the situation of this Gonabadi dervish yet.

According to Majzooban reporter, on Sunday 28 Khordad 91 (Jun 17 , 2012) security guards and plain clothes raided the home of Gonabadi dervish, Mr. Ali Shafiee, in Soghad and arrested him without judicial warrant and transferred him to an unknown place.

During the past four days family of Gonabadi dervish, Ali Shafiee have referred to all Judicial and legal offices of Abadeh city to follow up his situation but all of these pursuits has been inconclusive. The only answer which Judicial authorities gave to his family about the arrest of this Gonabadi dervish is that he was charged with propaganda against the regime.

During recent days, pressure on members of Nematollahi Gonabadi order in district “Soghad” of Fars Province has increased with their arrest, summons, summoned by phone, threats and intimidation by Intelligence Office, so that, Gonabadi dervishes are forced to make a commitment not to participate in their religious ceremonies there.
