Gonabadi Dervish, Kasra Nouri’s Court Session After 4 Months Of Uncertainty

 

 

Today, on Tir 18 , 1391 (Jul 9 , 2012), Branch 15 of Shiraz’s Revolutionary Court tried Gonabadi dervish, Kasra Nouri on the charges of “interviews with foreign media” and “Propaganda against the regime” after keeping him in Adel Abad prison for more than four months in undecided situation.

Interrogation session named as Last Defence of Kasra Nouri was held by Judge Kheshti and presence of his lawyer.

Our reporter added that, on Ordibehesht 1391 (May 10 , 2012) previous sessions of interrogation of this conscience prisoner was not held due to offensive and illegal behavior of magistrate and Kasra Nouri’s objection.

It is noteble that, Gonabadi Dervishes, Messrs. Saleh Moradi Sarvestani, Hamid Reza Arayesh, Kazem Dehghan and Mohammad Ali Shamshirzan, are held as “temporary detention”, the period of 10 months, 5 months and 3 months respectively in Shiraz Adel Abad prison and their status is not clear yet.

Although according to the law, “temporary detention” for more than two months is illegal, these dervishes are held in Adel Abad prison without any trial or judgment of the Court.
