Family of Jailed Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyer, Mostafa Daneshjou could visit him, more than 10 days after his transfer to the security sections 240 and 209 of Evin prison.

According to received news to Majzooban Noor, Mostafa Daneshjou, who has been sent into solitary confinement due to protest against nonconformity of procedural Law, met his family at prison yesterday morning on 5th Bahman 1391 ( Jan 24, 2013 ).

After visit that took place under tight security, the family has become too concerned with his physical condition so they explained that: “By seeing his extreme weakness and very bad health condition we are more concerned about his critical conditions than before. he was not feeling well at all and we are gravely worried for him due to physical and psychological pressures imposed inside the solitary confinement.”

Mostafa Daneshjou is suffering from severe respiratory disease and asthma and according to the coroner’s certificate he has lost a considerable (at about 40%) of his lung capacity and is strictly prohibited from being kept in a closed space with no air Conditioner.

Since he has been in Ward 209, several times has been critically ill and after the doctor examined him, confirmed the need for transfer to hospital but he has not yet taken to hospital. He is critically ill and lack of proper care in prison has worsened his condition.

It should be noted that, Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyers and Majzooban Noor’s managers because of refusing to participate in court, according to an order by the trial judge “Mr. Salavati”, were transferred to solitary confinement since 11 days ago.

Unfortunately the situation in solitary confinement is absolutely dangerous for Mostafa Daneshjou and two other dervishes, Hamid Reza Moradi and Amir Eslami who are suffering from chronic heart illness and taking heart medication and they can’t bear prison conditions.

It is reminded that, two Jailed gonabadi dervishes, Kasra Nouri along with Saleh Moradi who are held in Shiraz Adel Abad prison have lunched hunger strike to protest illegal transfer of seven Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyers and Majzooban Noor website Managers to solitary confinement of Evin prison.

They enter their eleventh day of hunger strike in extremely poor health conditions of Adel Abad Prison.
