Gonabadi dervish, Mostafa Abdi after refused to post bail of 100 million toman, was taken to Section 350 of Evin prison.

According to reports by Majzooban Noor, Mostafa Abdi who was arrested along with more than 15 other lawyers and managers of Majzooban Noor website ( Nematollah Gonabadi Order News Site) in Shahrivar last year(September 2011) in Tehran and had been released on bail bonds salary after enduring more than one month behind bars in security Ward 209 of Evin prison, on 11th of Bahman 1391(Jan 30, 2013) was again summoned to Evin Court to post his bail which has been set in the amount of 100 million toman under order from judge Salavati.

He has been twice summoned to appear in Branch 15 of Tehran Revolutionary Court presided over by Judge Salavati to hear his charges such as “gathering and colluding to disturb national security”and each time he refused to defend himself due to illegal process hearing and stated that, according to article 185 of the Code of Criminal Procedure Public and Revolutionary Courts, the defender lawyer should be allowed to study papers of the client’s case and because the law has not been implemented in his case and also all of his lawyers did not have present in court so he would not defend himself.

It should be noted that, nine Gonabadi dervishes are currently detained in Evin Prison that seven of them ( Messrs. Hamid Reza Moradi Sarvestani, Amir Eslami, Mostafa Daneshjou, Farshid Yadollahi, Afshin Karampour, Omid Behroozi and Reza Entesari ) are being held in solitary confinement at Evin’s ward 209 and yet no fair trail has been held to investigate and consider the charges made against them.
