Based on previous reports sometime ago Branch 3 of Shiraz’s Revolutionary Court, presided over by Judge “Mr.Rashidi” tried Gonabadi dervish, Kasra Nouri on the charges of “interviews with foreign media”,”Propaganda against the regime”, “insulting the leadership”, “membership of deviant group: Majzooban Noor!”

And “expose national secrets”, of course after keeping him in Adel Abad prison for more than seven months in undecided situation. However, if we nonce ignore the reasons for these such baseless and false charges in the pursuit of his case and trial, we could witness so many violation of law which a list of violations is as follows:

1) Illegal entry into homes at night to arrest some people and violations of legal norms and destruction of people’s property who have no relevance to the case (violation of Article 100 of the Criminal Procedure Act)

2) Sequestration of property and personal documents and no set agenda and no refunds them (violation of Articles 96, 103 and 111 of the Criminal Procedure Act)

3) Insult, contempt, Physically attack and bad behavior of prison guards with this dervish (Violation of Article 169 of the Executive Regulations of the prison)

4) Extending illegal detention and failure to rule on it after 8 months (Breaking in paragraph “ط” of Article 3 of the Law on Public and Revolutionary Courts)

5) sending out prisoner dervish with handcuffs and shackles (violation of remark 1 of Article 235 of the Executive Regulations of Prisons)

6) prevent of presence and conversation between attorney and client during the hearing!

7) prevent of presence of family and other dervishes in the Court session (violation of Article 165 of constitution based on holding open trials for political offenses)

It is notable that, during the past years the pressure on Nematollahi Gonabadi Dervishes has increased by security and intelligence agencies and “Violating the constitution” has been a common misconduct.

Even when dervishes’s lawyers have protested against the security and intelligence agencies because of their infringement and violations of law, some advocate’s licenses of Gonabadi dervishes’s lawyers has been suspended or revoked.
